WOMAN EMPOWERMENT

 Women Empowerment means to empower women to live glorious and respectful life. They are the backbone of society, so their empowerment is empowerment of society. They work like mother, sister, daughter and wife. They play major role in creation of ideal society. They bind whole family in a single unit and maintain balance in family. They sacrifice their whole life in welfare of their family. It is said in Sanskrit that “Yatr Naryastu Pujyante ,Ramante Tatr Devta.” This means that where women is respected, God remains there. 

Women consists of the 50% of the population so their development is the best way to improve the condition of the society. We can never think about the development of society without development of women. We must start development from grass root level because they are left behind in the process of development. We must respect them so that we may get their blessing. Today in materialistic world we are treating women as thing and exploiting them. They are key stone of the society so we must protect them. They are not a thing; they have life and they are free to live a respectful life. Mostly women are suffered from human trafficking. This is a social evil present in the society. They also face domestic violence in family after marriage. Now days they are suffered from ignorance because their children leave them alone. They have needed a support in old age but their children leave them alone. This evil is spreading in the world very fast if it will not be controlled then one day a large number of women suffered from this. This is not a social problem but it has become global problem so we must think for its solution so that they may be saved from this evil. They have to spend their life in old age home. They feel very tired in old age, yet they have to work to survive. We must support them so that they may spent their remaining time with happiness. The parents bear their children and look after them till they become self-dependent, but children never think for their Parents and leave them alone. We should promote the scheme related to women. We must ensure their participation in development. We encourage them so that they may live respectful life. Government has started a lot of schemes to promote women as UJWALA Yojana, ODF scheme, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Scheme, Sukanya Samridhi Yojana etc.. In UJWALA Yojana government provides free LPG connection to women. This scheme benefits the women living below poverty line. Now they are using LPG for cooking in villages. They are living a respectable life. They often used firewood for cooking. This scheme helps them to live a standard life and to improve their life expectancy. We should protect them from violence and other illegal work. It is responsibility of whole society that they care for women and provide equal opportunity to grow in life. 

 It is concluded that the protection of women is responsibility of man. They have need respect because they are also an inseparable part of our society and family. They teach their children high standard Sanskaras and play major role in creation of ideal society and better future of the country. Thus, they must be respected. It is said that women are base of the society. So It is said that “You educate a man; you educate a man. You educate a woman; you educate a generation.”
